Yamaguchi Kenji 山口建治 ist emeritierter Professor der Fakultät für ausländische Studien der Abteilung Sinologie der Universität Kanagawa.[1] Seine Forschungsfeld umfasste die chinesische Literatur und ihren Volkglauben, darüber hinaus publizierte er auch über Ursprünge von Oni 鬼 und Zeremonien ihrer Austreibung na no girei 儺の儀礼.[2] Momentan ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Forschungszentrum für nichtliterarische Materialien an der Universität Kanagawa tätig. [3]
